您好,

我是P1.CN的CEO王宇。

如果您在1月25日至28日之间收到了好友发出的P1.CN推荐信, 有可能并非是您的好友有意发出,而是由于您的好友在使用P1时功能出现错误而导致发出的。

对可能给您带来的不便我们表示歉意,此问题在1月28日已修复,不会再有类似情况发生。

P1自2007年成立以来一直是会员制的社区,无法直接注册加入。我们在2周以前推出了新的申请入会机制。新的机制为:如果申请人可以在P1上找到5位朋友已经是会员,便可直接得到会员资格。于此同时,申请人可以向自己的朋友推荐P1。部分推荐信的错误发送就是在这个流程中产生的。

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is Yu Wang, CEO of P1.CN.

If you have received emails from your friends recommending you to P1.CN during Jan 25 to Jan 28, they might have been sent to you by mistake due to a problem in our systems.

We are sorry for the inconvenience and confusion caused during the last 3 days.

Since being founded in 2007, P1.CN has been a closed social network, where membership have been by invitation only. Because of increasing interest in joining P1, we launched a new membership application function two weeks ago.

The process of membership application were that if the applicant had 5 existing friends as P1 members, the applicant would be given a membership. At the same time, the applicant could choose to recommend P1 to his/her contacts. However, during the period of Jan 25 to Jan 28 a serious fault occurred in the application process and many emails were sent out by mistake.
